First, thanks so much for the letters and packages! What a wonderful surprise to get stuff from Aunt Carla! And of course, the rachel calendar is amazing. That´s to be expected. We are real happy because a few people came to church today! Charlot, Xochitl, and Julia. Saturday we went over to Julia´s house and watched the joseph smith (short version) video and gave her a blessing she asked for. After the blessing we invited her to baptism and she said yes! There was a very special spirit there and Im so glad we knocked on her door a couple weeks ago so we could get to know her. She also went to the activity we put on Sunday afternoon. We watched the joseph smith movie (long version) with the ward. Its a really great movie and if you havent seen it yet....watch it.
This week we have planned some specific areas we want to focus on and go contacting and hopefully we can have some lessons with investigators in the homes of members. We have some plans that we know God will help us out with and we are confident we will see more fruits of our work. Today in my studies I learned that giving service is a covenant we made at baptism. Check it out (Mosiah 18:10 and 13).
